We had a wonderful stay at Melissa's house in Bennington! It was the perfect location for a girls reunion weekend, close to everything in town, great restaurants and plenty to do. The house was beautiful. We took advantage of the beautiful kitchen to make a wonderful meal. The house was warm and inviting, from the lovely decorated bedrooms and bathrooms to the living room and kitchen areas. Melissa reached out numerous time to make sure that we had everything we needed which was much appreciated. We hope to stay there again on our next visit to Bennington!
One of the nicest homes with a great host! Not only were the bedrooms and baths fresh, clean and beautifully appointed, there was a lovely breakfast bar set up with coffee, a huge tea selection, creamers and several varieties of oatmeal. We did not wind up preparing any food in the house, but if you did, the kitchen was very well equipped and very up to date. We loved gathering in the living room as well as on the back deck, both with lots of comfortable seating. All of the bedrooms had a heating and cooling system, plus GREAT beds, so super comfy for sleeping. The third floor ensuite bedroom was especially quiet and private. Lots of thoughtful touches throughout like LOTS of fresh towels, tissue boxes, luggage racks, dressers and well lit bathrooms. This is an A+ property with a warm and welcoming host!
Six of us stayed at Melissa’s place for Solid Sound 2024 (about 30 min. away). The home is clean and comfortable and the beds were heavenly. We REALLY appreciated the coffee options, oatmeal, ice, filtered water pitcher, and much more. We did not get a chance to cook, but you can tell Melissa went all out in this beautiful kitchen. The deck is lovely. If you are coming for Solid Sound you probably know that reception is awful in North Adams, but Melissa went above & beyond to answer our messages after 10pm. We also truly appreciated the late check out!

Bennington's 802 Cape Cod is nestled in the picturesque town of Bennington, just a short scenic drive away from Manchester, Williamstown, MA, and Albany, NY. Our home offers the ideal blend of convenience and tranquility. We are located in a premier Bennington neighborhood close to everything.
Our home is newly renovated from top to bottom and has all new furnishings. We offer 5 bedrooms, 3 of which have KING size beds and 2 of the 3 are suites. The third has a bath just across the hall.
If you're going t stay in Bennington and you're looking for a place, look no further! If I could give Melissa more than 5 stars, I'd do it! She is a wonderful host, super friendly, responsive, and kind. The house looks very nice in the pictures, but it's even better in person. Ten adults stayed the house, and we were very comfortable. The place was absolutely spotless and so welcoming. Melissa has thought of everything! To say the kitchen (which is gorgeous!) is well-appointed is an understatement! Not only did it have whatever we needed in terms of dishes, pots/pans, glasses and utensils, there was a variety of coffee, a hot chocolate bar, biscotti, oatmeal and filtered water in the fridge, just to name a few. The beds were super comfortable and the bathroom towels were plush, a real plus in my book! We enjoyed time on the deck and the beautiful view, too! We were looking for a cozy place in southern VT for a base for visiting family for Thanksgiving, and Melissa’s house was perfect! The kitchen was so well equipped, the beds were comfortable and the living and dining spaces ideal for relaxing and chatting.

"This was easily one of the best airbnbs we’ve stayed in.
Entry was easy. Main level had welcoming living room with multiple seating options surrounding the TV. This is important when you travel with big groups - you want place where everyone can gather comfortable.
Kitchen was STOCKED. Everything from coffee to a hot chocolate bar. The host even left some snacks (we used some of the milk, Melissa!). There was no wine opener, but that didn’t stop us! Plenty of plates and utensils and cookware.
Bedrooms were great as well. Comfortable beds and nicely stocked, clean bathrooms.
Loved that we didn’t have to do much upon departure except start the dishwasher and place towels on the bathroom floors. We obviously didn’t leave the place a mess and took out the trash, but it was still nice to see that we didn’t have to do a million things before we left.
We will definitely stay here again next time we come up to visit family."
